Open Tuesday – Sunday 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Closed Monday, Christmas Day, and Good Friday.

This is the training academy for Canada’s world-renowned ‘Mounties.’ It is possible to see the recruits in the Sergeant Major’s Parade. It is also the official museum of the force and contains many exhibits dealing with the history of the R.C.M.P. There are many artifacts and photos and various memorabilia, including a uniform and weapons collection. Open year-round: June 1 to September 15, daily 8am – 6:45 pm, September 16 to May 31, daily 10am – 4:45 pm. Chapel open periodically Saturday and Sunday. Tours: Monday to Friday at 9am (summer only), 10am, and 11am, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, and 3:30 pm.

Saskatchewan’s premier tourist and educational attraction, the Saskatchewan Science Centre has a quarter of a million visitors annually. The Science Centre is an interactive science museum and Imax theatre. The two facilities of the centre, the Powerhouse of Discovery and the Kramer IMAX Theatre, present exciting and fun ways for children to interact with science. The Powerhouse of Discovery features hands-on exhibits that explore basic scientific principles of physics, genetics, biology, ecology, geology and space. The Discovery Lab houses an array of reptilian and amphibian animals. Visitors can also enjoy live demonstrations on static electricity, cryogenics, lasers, sound, ecology and anatomy.
