1. Boulder City/Hoover Dam Museum

The Boulder City/Hoover Dam Museum is at 444 Hotel Plaza in Boulder City. Visitors can view a film about the dam’s construction and see memorabilia. The dam is important to Vegas history because its construction starting in 1931 brought thousands of new residents to the area.
2. The Las Vegas Mob Experience
The Las Vegas Mob Experience is located inside the Tropicana at 3801 S. Las Vegas Blvd. Mobsters such as Bugsy Siegel were key to turning Las Vegas into a center for entertainment and gambling.

7. Leid Discovery Children’s Museum
Leid Discovery Children’s Museum at 833 N. Las Vegas Blvd. has 100 interactive exhibits relating to science, art, and the humanities. Displays and play areas are set up for various age groups, from toddlers to teens.
8. Nevada State Railroad Museum
The Nevada State Railroad Museum in Boulder City features a seven-mile round-trip train ride on the same track used to supply the Hoover Dam construction site.
9-10. M&M’s World and M Chocolate Factory

Two attractions call out to chocolate lovers – M&M’s World and Ethel M Chocolate Factory. M&M’s World is next to the MGM and has four floors of memorabilia, souvenirs, and of course, candy. The Ethel M Chocolate Factory and Botanical Cactus Gardens in Henderson features glimpses at both delights in the making, as visitors observe the chocolate factory in operation, and botanical wonders in the adjoining gardens. The odd combination came about since early factory leader Forrest Mars enjoyed gardening as much as he liked making chocolate.
11. Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art
The Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art at 3600 S. Las Vegas Blvd brings in works from private collections and international museums for its casino and hotel visitors to enjoy.
