Things to Do in Las Vegas
Las Vegas takes diversions to new heights. In this city of neon lights and poker tables, there are countless attractions. Admire the free show at the Bellagio fountains, gape at the Cirque du Soleil performances or hit the slots all night along. Gambling is an integral part of the Vegas experience. The Venetian Casino and Grand Canal, Bellagio Casino, Mirage Casino and Volcano, and Mandaly Bay Casino and Beach are some of the most popular spots for slots. Nightlife is also huge, with Caesar's PURE Nightclub serving as a staple.
When it comes to fine dining, Vegas has plenty of designer food. Some of the crowd favorites include Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesars, SW Steakhouse at the Wynn, Aureole at the Mandalay Bay and Fiamma Trattoria & Bar at the MGM. If you want to explore nature, Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is located only 17 miles southwest of Vegas and the Hoover Dam spans the Colorado River 30 miles away. There is also a handful of museums, including the Neon Museum and Mob Museum.
