Serving the capital city of Michigan, Capital Region International Airport is served by several major domestic airlines. The airline ticketing counters and baggage check-in areas are located on the Ground Floor of the terminal building. Additionally, the Ground Floor also has the departure gates 1-4. The Upper Level is used exclusively for flights that operate in gates 5-9 in the terminal. Although Lansing is the official capital of Michigan, the city has a small population and therefore receives limited non-stop service at the Capital Region International Airport.
