The Joy Bus
Catch the Joy Bus when it comes around the streets of the Hibiscus Coast. Driven by volunteer drivers, the Joybus aims to cheer people up. The Joybus is the brainchild of the late Keith Morris, who, with his wife, Shirley, had travelled the world a number of times.

Gulf Harbour
World Class Marina, a Country Club complete with an International Standard Golf Course and outstanding recreational facilities.
You can also go on Fishing excursions from the Marina.

Orewa Beach
Orewa beach is a sunny resort town, with a glorious beach fronting the blue Hauraki Gulf and also diner's Mecca, with a great selection of Thai, Italian, Indian and European cuisine.

Horses
Ride with experienced coaches across dunes, farmland and through forests. Fun for all the family, and also for serious riders.

Kawau Island
This is the ideal spot for picnics, swimming, bush walks and fishing off the rocks. You can go surfing the waves on the speedy Kawau Jet, or visit historic Mansion House, richly steeped in the history of the Northland region. You can also visit the island's copper mine.

Tiri Matangi Island
Tiritiri Matangi is a scientific reserve and a sanctuary for rare wildlife. Visitors are welcome but are asked to treat the island with care and respect. After centuries of Maori occupation followed by European farming had turned most of Tiritiri into rolling grassland, Tiritiri is being replanted with native trees to accelerate the natural regeneration of the coastal forest and to provide a rich and varied habitat for bird species.

Goat Island
A magical maritime world with fish swimming all around you. Rub noses with Grand-daddy snapper or simply experience the vast array of colourful marine life. You can dive, snorkel or take the glass bottomed boat out and view the marine life "dry" !
