Athens International Airport, otherwise known as Eleftherios Venizelos, is situated between the cities of Markopoulo, Koropi, Spata and Loutsa. It opened on March 29, 2001, and it is Greece's largest airport, serving as the hub of Aegean Airlines and Olympic Air.
